“Pretty Expiry was just such a blast making creations that look pretty but at the same time there’s something off about them. something dark-mysterious-wonderous. Something that could tell a story. I wanted people to question : can the dark parts of life still be beautiful and maybe redeem themselves into strength and bravery and maybe even be empowering instead of disgusting and decayed and evil. Will the viewer find the beauty. Or will the viewer say its not up to the perfect beauty standards of today”
